The MWC 100m G10 models in stainless steel are among the highest specification G10 military watches in production, featuring a hybrid mechanical/quartz movement. These hybrid watches combine the best of traditional and modern watchmaking, incorporating features from both automatic and quartz models to create a low-maintenance hybrid movement. The movement is powered by a battery, regulated by a quartz oscillator, and mechanically actuates and controls the hands, offering the sweep second hand of automatic watches with the maintenance benefits of quartz.
Although this G10/98 Specification watch traces its origins to our earliest G10 designs in the 1980s, this 100m model with hybrid movement has not been produced for several years. However, due to regular requests from dealers for a G10 hybrid, this model has been reintroduced.
The watch features a smooth satin case finish, preferred by clients seeking a refined appearance over the more obviously military sandblasted cases. This 100m water-resistant G10 watch is both unique and extremely functional, with a high-visibility dial. All G10 100m variants are designed to survive the most extreme conditions. The watch comes with both a grey NATO webbing strap and a black strap, with additional colors available for purchase. The back of the case bears unique contract markings and a serial number.
