This automatic, self-winding MWC military watch is a classic design inspired by patterns from the 1940s and 1950s. It features a small subsidiary second-hand dial, modeled after the designs used by British forces during that era. The watch retains the original acrylic crystal, as seen on the vintage models, but the original hand-wound mechanical movement has been upgraded to a self-winding automatic movement, which can also be manually wound if needed. This timepiece maintains its original appearance with a few discreet updates to enhance its suitability for everyday use.
It boasts a heavy, satin-finish case made from military-grade 316L stainless steel, a subsidiary second-hand dial, hacking function, black dial, and luminous markings. The watch also comes with a historically accurate canvas strap, reminiscent of those used in the 1940s and 1950s.
The final image shows the original 12 watches made by companies such as Buren, Cyma, Eterna, Grana, Jaeger Le-Coultre, Lemania, Longines, IWC, Omega, Record, Timor, and Vertex. MWC, established in 1974, was not among these original manufacturers, but this watch honors the spirit of those classics.
