This watch was a preproduction sample which came in from a clearance sale. The watch needs a new battery and is not currently running but it's brand new and in its box MWC, ran a large range of these watches with numerous different variants. There aren't very many still for sale because MWC do not have any remaining, and most of their dealers have sold out as well, but we managed to secure a box of 10 preproduction samples, which are exactly the same as the watches which were ultimately produced in 2019/2020.

This classic Luftwaffe pattern watch on a high-quality heavy-duty leather strap is based on the famous watch designs from WW2 produced by a variety of German and Swiss manufacturers. These 1940s style watches are ideal if you want an easy-to-maintain quartz watch that has the style and historical appearance of a watch used by German Luftwaffe pilots during WW2 between the years 1940-1945 but with low maintenance of a modern battery-powered watch.
The watches have a sweep second hand and a typical retro dial configuration this makes the watch very unique when combined with a large case size as used by German pilots watches at the time. The watch also has a thick heavy-duty mineral glass crystal. The case design is also unique because it is finished in such a way that the watch does not look like it’s just come out of the factory! The process used to finish the cases means each watch is slightly different from each other and has what is termed a distressed/aged appearance.
The extra-large case size of 47mm in diameter makes this a very impressive timepiece that has considerable presence and tends to attract a lot of favourable comments, especially from other watch enthusiasts and WW2 enthusiasts.
