The P650/6500 type 6 is an authentic US military specification watch designed and built according to specifications set out in the US government specification MIL-W-46374 F. These watches were direct developments of the Stocker and Yale (SandY) P650 type 6 which as the standard issue to Army Rangers, Army Special Forces (the Green Berets), the Navy SEALs, and the multi-service EOD (Explosives Ordnance Demolition) teams. There were three batches of P650s issued in: 1995, 1999, and 2000. All were identical, the only difference being the date on the caseback and box. These were the first military timepieces ever to be equipped with the patented mb-microtec H3 permanent light technology which is still used in self luminous watches today. Thousands of these H3 models have been issued to the men and women of the US Armed Forces. This watch is identical to the original P650 except for the addition of a date window.
