MWC Classic 1960s/70s Pattern Olive Drab Vietnam Watch on Matching Web

This watch is from a batch of display watches from a trade show all are brand new and reduced to clear.  The packaging may show some signs of handling and also the straps may show indications of having been tried on but the watch still has a full two year guarantee and is new with the plastic still on the crystal etc.

MWC's Vietnam Watches are virtually identical in appearance to the watches used by American troops in the Vietnam war during the 1960s and early 1970s. The original models were made of plastic because they were deemed disposable, of course, the problem with MWC making their own Vietnam watches in plastic is that they would be very basic just like the originals with all the same durability issues, consequently over 15 years ago they decided to completely rethink the watch and whilst maintaining the original appearance, weight and size they switched to all-metal construction across the entire range hence although the watches look very close to the originals (see the last image which shows an original watch and spec sheet) these watches are vastly superior in both durability and general quality.
