Synthetic sapphire is the preferred material for watch crystals due to its exceptional strength and resistance to shattering and scratching. These properties make it highly desirable for military, security personnel, police officers, and outdoor enthusiasts, who comprise over 70% of our customer base. Compared to mineral glass, sapphire crystal is significantly more durable. Even though we use hardened mineral crystals, they do not match the durability of sapphire under adverse conditions. The manufacturing process of sapphire glass includes heat treatment to remove internal stresses, further enhancing its strength. This durability, combined with a double anti-reflective coating, ensures clarity and resilience. While sapphire crystal is more costly, it is a standard feature in higher-end watches, underscoring the premium nature of this limited edition model.
