This Newmark 52 Field Watch with black dial and smooth-sweep VH31 Seiko movement was among a batch of five, which we purchased from a security industries clearance sale, three have been sold and we only have two remaining. The watches are in the original boxes, complete with both a gray and black NATO strap. Although the watch is on you, we didn't know the actual age so our watchmaker has fitted new batteries.
The Newmark 52 is equipped with the Seiko VH31. While this movement is quartz, it is designed to ‘tick’ four times per second. The visual aesthetics of a mechanical watch with the accuracy and reliability of quartz – perfect for those who don’t want the hassle of a mechanical movement, but prefer the outward appearance.
