This robust 300m water-resistant MWC Tactical Series watch in a titanium case is specifically designed for law enforcement, marine, surface, and airborne applications. It surpasses U.S. W-46374F Type 6 specifications and is regularly ordered in bulk by clients for various applications. The design, based on mid-1990s models, features multiple upgrades. Notably, the solid titanium case and bezel replace the original polyamide material. The watch also includes a shatter-resistant sapphire crystal, water resistance increased from 30m to 300m (99ft to 1000ft), and a screw-down locking crown and caseback. The bezel has high visibility numerals, and the subdued dial is easy to read even under adverse light conditions. The watch uses Swiss Tritium GTLS (Gaseous Tritium Light Sources), which are significantly brighter than any conventional luminous watch.

The timepiece features a high-quality Ronda high precision Quartz Movement (Ronda calibre 715li) designed to withstand high G-forces, with a 10-year battery life and an end-of-battery life indicator. Although not a dedicated diving watch, it is manufactured to the same water resistance rating as our diver's models, with a screw-down crown and caseback, making it suitable for all land-based or marine requirements.

A key feature is its ability to maintain high accuracy at altitudes up to 12,000m / 40,000ft without compensatory pressurization. The dial features a radioactive tritium symbol. Tritium is a radioactive isotope of hydrogen that emits beta particles, which do not penetrate the skin, plastic, or glass. The vials contain less than the personal limit of 25 millicuries of radioactive gas, compliant with U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations 10 CFR 30.15.

Why Choose Sapphire Crystal?

Many people ask about the benefits of sapphire crystal over standard mineral crystal. Synthetic sapphire is the best material for watch crystals due to its exceptional strength and resistance to shattering and scratching. These characteristics make it highly appealing to military and security personnel, police officers, and active outdoor enthusiasts, who account for over 70% of our customers.

To put it in perspective, over 90% of watches with cracked crystals involve mineral glass. Even hardened mineral crystals do not match sapphire's durability. Sapphire crystals are heat-treated to remove internal stresses, enhancing their strength. They are then crafted into watch crystals with two layers of anti-reflective coating. Interestingly, sapphire crystal is also used on the latest iPhones. Due to its superior qualities and higher cost, sapphire crystal is typically found on higher-end watches.
