Precista G10 1982 Falklands War G10 in Sound Original Condition And Running Fine
Precista W10 British Army Wristwatch Issued in 1982, This watch was supplied to us as a part exchange by an ex British para who said it was issued to him during the 1982 Falklands conflict it could do with a new crystal but is in original condition and the Para said he has not used it since he returned from the Falklands.
The watch has its original ETA 536.121 movement which is in full working order and keeping excellent time. The watch sets fine and the hands turn smoothly, the hacking function also works correctly too.
The back is very clean with the correct issue marks, including W10 (service code for Army), NATO stock number, country code, item number, serial number and year of issue (’82’). The serial number tallies with the correct run of serial numbers for Precista which were supplied as the third of four production runs for the MOD in 1982, this model was only issued as far as we know in that single year in a run of 4500 making it the rarest watch of this pattern by far, the other three runs being made by CWC who made a virtually identical watch at the time. The dial and hands are in sound condition and are correct for the Precista G10 model.
The watch is fitted with an 18mm grey NATO webbing strap.
Diameter 38,2 mm with crown / 35,2 mm without the crown
