The G10LM is a current G10/General Service pattern field watch, featuring a slightly smaller and more compact design compared to the MWC G10 50m battery hatch variant. The G10LM/CF/D model is not typically available from MWC as they produce these exclusively for contracts. We acquired a box of them at a military and security industries clearance sale. Aside from the broad arrow (Pheon) on the face and MWC branding, these watches are identical to other G10 models.
While the MWC G10LM range resembles some models from other manufacturers, there are significant differences in specification. For instance, this watch has a screw-down caseback for improved water resistance, unlike the push-on casebacks often used by competitors. Additionally, MWC uses actual glass crystals, making the watch more scratch-resistant and streamlined in appearance, as opposed to the perspex/plexiglass crystals used by others.
A notable difference is the price, with competitors’ models generally priced over three times higher. This watch is even more affordable due to our purchase at a clearance auction.
