This MWC aviator model has a solid stainless steel case and screw-down crown and case back. The classic case design and retro style crown are combined with GTLS tritium tubes and a low maintenance and highly accurate Ronda 715li 10 year battery life movement, this creates a unique and very desirable timepiece with an interesting mix of modern and traditional ingredients.
These watches were never retailed by MWC and were produced exclusively for a military contract in 2019/2020, we know that there were 320 watches in total from the serial numbers but other than that we don't have much information. We managed to secure a handful of overruns at a military clearance auction they are brand-new and in their original tins. We have tried to identify what the watches relate to and the exact significance but without success although we have been informed when we had an initial sample of this watch that one of our customers who is in the paratroopers said he believes it could well relate to the Yorkshire Regiment but he couldn't be 100% certain I know he was confident that was a very high probability.. We know from some information that came with the watches that they were delivered by MWC to an RAF base what we don't know is where they went from there, I did try to get some more information from MWC but without success. If anyone knows the exact significance of the rose logo it would be useful if they could let us know.
